Richmond, VA (Show #5)
Beautiful Richmond, Virginia. I had some time before the show at the Canal Club in the River Walk district.

Cabin Fever
I discovered a great blog called Cabin Porn. After looking through pages and pages of amazing retreats in the mountains and next to lakes, I immediately thought of a cabin that I was able to visit in La Crosse, Wisconsin a year ago. The cabin is located on a huge plot of land in the beautiful bluffs of Wisconsin. Take a look at the photographs and let your mind wander.

I got the chance to photograph Chromeo last week while they played in Milwaukee on their Night Falls Tour. Below are some preview images of their amazing performance!

Beautiful stares #1
Apolline is one amazing French girl I became great friends with while I was living in Warsaw, Poland. She makes the best homemade crêpes and has the most addictive personality ever.

Food Photography (in progress)
I apologize for the lack of updates, but I am not the best with blogging. I’ve been living in Warsaw, Poland for the last five months and I’m gearing up to return to the Midwest (Wisconsin). For my first post, I thought I would share a project that I have been working on with chefs and restaurants all around the world. The below images are from The Amber Room in Warsaw, Poland.
- Beef tartare with summer truffle flakes
- Stuffed baby chicken with potato purée, green beans and truffle sauce
- Rhubarb parfait and anise panna cotta
- Wild Baltic salmon with basil gnocchi, baby cabbage and tomato foam
- St. Jacques with onion-vanilla purée and salsa verde
- Grilled fillet of tuna with salsify, white asparagus and watermelon-wasabi vinaigrette

New camera bag
I got this new Kata bag for Christmas. This will serve as my new bag while I’m living in Poland and traveling around Europe. Like most others bags lack in, the bag fits my laptop 1-2 DSLR bodies, a few lenses and a flash while being light weight and slim. This size comes in handy when traveling on airplanes where storage is an issue. Another benefit is the bags supportive back support along with nice straps for the chest and waist.
